What is your payment policy?

Payment for all services are due on the day of service.

Do you take my vision insurance?

For routine eye exams (wellness care) and primary eyecare (treatment of medical conditions of the eye) Olive + Spex Optometry is an in-network provider for Vision Service Plan (VSP). The Olive + Spex team will gladly assist patients in determining current eligibility by contacting VSP directly.


OTHER PLANS


We are a OPEN ACCESS PROVIDER. You can utilize your out-of-network vision care benefits with us as well! Our team will provide a detailed receipt at the time of payment and can even assist you in submitting the claim. If you prefer to submit the claim yourself, we are happy to provide any documentation required for reimbursement.

Do you take medical/health insurance?

Unfortunately, we do not accept any medical/health insurances at OLIVE and SPEX OPTOMETRY. We are happy to provide you with any documentation required for you to submit your claim for reimbursement.

Do you accept HSA or FSA?

All our services and products are HSA / FSA eligible and we accept HSA / FSA cards for prescription eyeglasses and sunglasses in-office. OLIVE and SPEX OPTOMETRY is not responsible for issues with the approval or refund transactions made through HSA / FSA cards.

What payment options do you accept?

We accept Visa, Mastercard, FSA, HSA, and Cash (exact amounts only). We do not accept checks.

What do I need to bring to my eye appointment?

Please bring your most current eyeglasses and contact lens packaging to your eye appointment. A copy of your spectacle and contact lens prescription would also be helpful.

How long does my prescription glasses order take to arrive?

Our glasses orders are taking an average of 3 weeks to arrive at our office.

How long does my contact lens order take to arrive?

Our contact lens orders are taking an average of 1-2 weeks to arrive at our office.

What is your appointment cancellation policy?

We understand that life gets busy and you might need to cancel or reschedule your appointment. We kindly request that you give us 48 hour notice so we can offer your appointment time to another patient. Due to COVID-19, we have reduced our schedule availability. For this reason, it is even more important to keep the appointment that has been reserved for you. If you no show or do not give us at least 48 hours notice in advance, you will be subject to our NO SHOW/CANCELLATION FEE of $50.
